8 Surprising Things David Schwimmer Has Done Post “Friends”

Since the beloved sitcom “Friends” ended back in 2004, most of the cast has remained quite visible to the public in a variety of new television projects and movies. Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green, has, in particular, had a thriving movie career post-“Friends.” However, the one cast member who seems to have virtually disappeared off the face of the earth is David Schwimmer, who played goofy, shy paleontologist Ross Gellar.

Where has David Schwimmer disappeared to since 2004, and what has he been doing while in hiding? The answers might surprise you!

Courteney Cox Sort Of Hints That David Schwimmer Might Be The Reason Why There Hasn’t Been A Friends Reunion

Your Reaction?

Fucking Ross! Of course it would be his fault. It’s always Ross’ fault. During a recent interview with Yahoo, Courteney Cox was asked whether or not there might ever be a Friends reunion. Obviously the answer to that is no, because a reunion is only a reunion if you’re able to get all the former cast members together, and that would be impossible, since Monica’s old face has been MIA for several years now. But according to Courteney, it’s a no because there’s always someone who fucks it up, and no, it’s not that adorable bumbling oaf Joey. When asked about the possibility of a reunion, Courteney said:
“Dear lord, let it go, people. We’re not doing it. It’s just not going to happen….We’ve gotten about 80% there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end.”
She was then asked if the name of the flake was David Schwimmer, and she answered:
“You know, I’m not going to name names, but it may not be Schwimmer.”
She then looked at the camera like “It’s totally fucking Ross.” It’s always Ross!

You know what? A Friends reunion can still happen without David Schwimmer; just grab a mopey-looking potato, put it in a blue sweater, and sit it beside a monkey – there, instant Ross. The only people who really matter are Monica, Rachel, Chandler, Joey, Joey’s hot slutty sister Gina, Phoebe, Ursula, the chick and the duck, Gunther, that dude who kept letting his balls hang out, and sexy DILF Jack Gellar (just me and Phoebe? Ok).

Speaking of a potato in a sweater, here’s David Schwimmer at an event with his wife and daughter last weekend. For someone who doesn’t want to do a Friends reunion, dude sure is dressed like he’s ready to drop everything and film one. Blue sweater? Check. Boot-cut jeans? Check. Ross hair? Check. Dopey “Hey Rach” face? Check.

‘Friends’ Reunion In The Cards? David Schwimmer And Matt LeBlanc Working Together Again

Friends reunion has been the dream of every fan since the show ended in May 2004. And these same Friends fans were on the edge of their seats when David Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller on the hit series, made an appearance on Matt LeBlanc’s show Episodes.

As Radio Times reported, the two former Friends act out a mini Friends reunion in a scene set at a birthday party for a fictional foreign dictator that was filled with llamas and drones. The two were discussing llamas and whether or not they should be kept as they were a gift from the fictional foreign dictator. It was a breath of fresh air to see the two acting together once again.

Friends fans got a brief taste of what it might be like to see a full-blown Friends reunion with all six cast members. Rumors have surfaced around the internet that there is a true Friends reunion in the works. It has been over 10 years since the show was last on the air, but it is having a resurgence with the full series now being available on Netflix.

Is there any truth to a possible Friends reunion? Unfortunately for Friends fans, it is looking quite unlikely. As reported by ABC News Los Angeles, Matt LeBlanc says that he doesn’t see a reunion happening anytime in the near future.
“I don’t see [a Friends reunion episode] happening either and I’ll tell you why. I think, you know how they always say the book is better than the movie? Friends was about a finite period of time in your life, like after college but before your life really started. And that was the magic of it, it was that point, that time in your life. It’s magical, you had no obligation, no responsibility, you’re free. To see what they’re doing now? Who wants to see, like, Chandler pushing the stroller around or at his kid’s softball game? Everyone’s kind of drifted apart in real life, so what would the story be and where would it take place? I think it’s better for people to imagine their own future for those characters than to see a scripted version of it.”
Actors Courteney Cox (Monica) and Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) have both nixed the idea and have said they feel no one would be interested in seeing the aged characters.

According to Express UK, this is not the first time that cast members of Friends have staged an incomplete Friends reunion. Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, and Jennifer Aniston have all made guest appearances on Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town.

In an article on the Huffington Post, Courteney Cox hinted that David Schwimmer was the one preventing the Friends reunion from taking place
“We’ve not really had a Friends reunion. We’ve gotten about 80 percent there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end. I’m not going to name names, but it may not be Schwimmer.”
The six have not been in the same room together since 2004.

Friends fans, we know you want to see a Friends reunion, but don’t hold your breath waiting. Just make the most of seeing Joey and Ross together again on Episodes and Monica and the gang on Cougar Town.

The good news is that Friends is now on Netflix, which means a whole new generation gets to experience the laughter and witness the chemistry of six amazing Friends.

Courteney Cox Hints David Schwimmer Is The One Stopping A 'Friends' Reunion From Happening

It's been 11 years since "Friends" ended and fans have yet to get a full cast reunion. Who is responsible for causing such unforgivable heartbreak? Ross, of course.

During an interview with Yahoo, Courteney Cox was asked about the possibility of a "Friends" reunion. The actress said that the entire cast hasn't been in the same room together since the show ended in 2004.

"We’ve not really had a 'Friends' reunion," Cox said. "We’ve gotten about 80 percent there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end." Then Cox playfully hinted that David Schwimmer is the one to blame. “I’m not going to name names, but it may not be Schwimmer," she teased.
Cox also insisted that a "Friends" movie isn't going to happen, saying, "Dear Lord, let it go people. We're not doing it." But she did joke that Monica would get her own spin-off. "Monica's going to do a movie, just not the whole 'Friends.'"

While we may not get a full-on "Friends" reunion for a while, if ever, we can at least cherish the mini ones that happen. Last week, Jennifer Aniston showed up at the Los Angeles premiere of Cox's directorial debut "Just Before I Go" for an adorable photo op. One step at a time, guys.

Six Days, Seven Nights

sixdays

Ah, the busy urban woman — all she needs is a rugged manly man to set her straight. So we were told by The Horse Whisperer, and so we are told again bySix Days Seven Nights, the latest bland throwback pretending it isn’t one. Here, the overworked woman is Anne Heche, who gives the movie a lot more wit and spark than it deserves, and is rewarded by being put through the standard simplify-your-life drill. You know, lots of women work at magazines and supervise photo shoots. They can’t all be yearning for the Marlboro Man to Calgon them away from their lives.

As the movie opens, Heche’s Robin Monroe (half sidekick, half blonde bombshell?) is involved with an unabashedly romantic guy who has the misfortune to be played by David Schwimmer. They fly to a vacation paradise, courtesy of gruff pilot Quinn Harris (Harrison Ford), and as soon as Robin meets Quinn you know it’s all over for Schwimmer; he might as well just go home and sit out the rest of the movie. Which he practically does, anyway. A business emergency forces Robin to fly over to Tahiti in the middle of her vacation, she pays Quinn $700 to get her there, and a storm knocks the plane down onto some remote island en route.

The fact that I was so conscious of the script’s mechanics — how conveniently it sets up the romance between Robin and Quinn — told me it wasn’t working. Six Days Seven Nights is reasonably painless for a while, because Heche and Ford have an off-center rapport; she gets Ford to loosen up, and I chuckled at him a few times. Still, all I responded to was the actors having fun on the set. I never bought the growing love between the two, because they’re essentially pale copies of Bogart and Katharine Hepburn in one of the main templates for this sort of opposites-attract comedy, The African Queen. Ford, if anything, is a little too hearty here. When he talks about a lost love, his words have no weight. And he overplays his drunk scene (which he didn’t do in Raiders of the Lost Ark, where he seemed to have more depth and experience at 38 than he does here at 55).

About halfway through, the movie goes to Hollywood hell. Director Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) and rookie screenwriter Michael Browning come up with a band of pirates, with such great iconic character actors as Temuera Morrison (a long way from Once Were Warriors) and Danny Trejo among the villains trying to kill Quinn and Robin. The pirates add nothing to the plot; they’re there to keep it going, but they just bring it to a halt. Meanwhile, Schwimmer sits around at the vacation paradise and somehow catches the eye of Quinn’s ripe young girlfriend (the cheerfully one-note Jacqueline Obradors) — a surpassingly synthetic plot device meant to grease the wheels for guilt-free infidelity all around.

Ivan Reitman has never been an artist, but at least when he first came to Hollywood his comedies had a scruffy charm; movies like Meatballs, Stripes and Ghostbusters now seem in retrospect to owe much of their appeal to Bill Murray. Reitman now makes Hollywood entertainment that is perfectly handsome (cinematographer Michael Chapman does some fine, burnished work here) and perfectly banal (Randy Edelman’s score is like a glaze of generic-comedy music shellac over everything). The question of whether audiences will accept Anne Heche as a hetero partner for Harrison Ford turns out to be irrelevant. The question is really whether audiences will accept this same old plastic stuff again. I’d guess they won’t. I hope not, anyway.

Dr. Oz and Team Discover $5 Solution to a Wrinkle Free Face - Diane Keaton EXPOSES IT ALL!

Diane exposed a HUGE celebrity secret to erase wrinkles - without botox or surgery!

How do Hollywood starlets look so radiant and youthful well into thier 40's, 50's, and even 60's? Is it always expensive botox and dangerous plastic surgery? According to Diane Keaton, the answer is NO! So if they aren't all using surgery to stay looking great, what is their secret? Keep reading, it's excitingly effective, safe, and cheap!
A few weeks ago on The Ellen Show, Diane shared the secret Dr. Oz has been giving celebrity clients who want to look 10 to 15 years younger fast, but are scared of the potential risks of surgery or botox. We were so suprised by how shockingly simple, cheap, and effective his technique was, we had to test it ourself and write a feature article on the results! Read on...

“Countless aging celebs admit they avoided surgery and look 20 years younger thanks to Dr. Oz's simple advice.”

The Best Skin Solution You’ve Never Heard Of

Dr Oz had always kept this wrinkle secret reserved for his high paying celebrity clients...until now. Diane said she felt like she had to let her fans know because she was tired of hearing the countless stories of her viewers throwing away thousands of dollars on expensive anti aging products or dangerous surgical procedures that make big promises that often do far more harm than good. As a result, a few weeks ago she shared the simple solution he had previously only shared with his celeb clients to everyone watching Ellen!
He actually discovered this anti aging miracle when multiple celebrity friends and clients were constantly reaching out to him hoping for a solution to look younger to prolong their career without going in for surgery.

“I looked 15 years younger in literally 2 weeks! Dr. Oz literally saved my acting career.” -Diane Keaton, 51
Diane revealed Dr. Oz was thrilled when after months and months of pain staking tests and research, his team came across 2 products that when combined literally took 10 to 20 years off women’s appearance in just a month. More shockingly it is safe, and costs next to nothing! The two products were revealed to be Tru Visage Anti Aging Formula and PurEssance Wrinkle Reducer Formula.
“This is the anti aging miracle of the decade as far as I'm concerned.” Martha Stewart, 73

So what is it?

2 Key Ingredients For Anti Aging:

These are both natural ingredients that work together to erase wrinkles and fine lines at the cellular level – below the surface of the skin – which is why they’re so effective.
Vitamin C, The Fountain of Youth:
The first piece of the anti aging puzzle Dr. Oz discovered was Vitamin C.
Vitamin C penetrates deep into damaged skin and stimulates new collagen – a protein which makes skin appear plump and firm. It's all the rage in beauty circles, much in part because of a 2009 study stating, applying non-prescription Vitamin C to your skin caused a 60% reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Dr. Oz said this is why Tru Visage Anti Aging Formula is so effective. It was one of the few products on the market that had Vitamin C in the right consistency and dosage.

Hyaluronic Acid:
He said the second piece, when combined properly with Vitamin C, literally makes your face look two decades younger in weeks! Hyaluronic Acid works by binding to moisture. It can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, making it an excellent natural skin plumper. Hyaluronic acid helps your skin repair and regenerate itself after suffering from dryness, environmental stresses, or irritation. He said one of, if not the only products you can buy over the counter with an effective concentration of Hyaluronic Acid was found inPurEssance Wrinkle Reducer Formula .

"How do I do it?"

It's acutally very simple. You simply use both products before bed. Diane states, "The trick is to combine Tru Visage Anti Aging Formula and PurEssance Wrinkle Reducer Formula. These two products both contain high concentrations of pure Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid in just the right concentrations. His team also discovered that they contain all sorts of anti-oxidants, an ingredient called Dermaxyl (also known as facelift in a jar) and Ester-C (the active anti-aging compound in Vitamin C).

“Getting older is rough for an actress. I feel like a new woman!” Goldie Hawn, 68

We Decided to Put it to the Test!

As excited as we were after the show and after getting a flood of letters, we wanted to try it for ourself before we wrote this feature piece praising it. We decided to take a volunteer from someone in our office. Let me introduce Brenda Wright, a 57 year old mother of 3 who jumped at the chance to test this combo. Here is her story...

Brenda's Story & 14 Day Cell Revival Results:

Brenda is a 57 year old mother of 3 from here in Chicago. Like most women her age, the years have started to give her unwanted lines and wrinkles. Brenda said she volunteered because she is so frustrated that nothing she has tried seems to work. She was even considered highly risky and very expensive facelift procedure. This was somewhat of a last resort for her.
